An easy one for this cold, lazy Sunday afternoon. 🙂
I’m currently eating a banana bread cinnamon bun that I cut in half, fried in butter on both sides, and drizzled a little maple syrup on. The recipe took some time to make, but the cinnamon buns are not too sweet and delicious. I often make banana bread from a recipe I memorized, but this is another good way to use up bananas in the house when they don’t get eaten.
Here’s the link to the recipe I used: Banana Bread Cinnamon Buns. I’m not vegan so used regular milk and butter and it turned out great. I did not make any topping for it and it didn’t really need any. No one in my house complained and we only have 1 left from the dozen or so the recipe made. It was a light taste of banana, not overpowering. I always modify recipes to fit ingredients I have in my house. If you try their recipe, let me know how the process went.
I love to cook and try new recipes. I cook intuitively, so my kids gave me a notebook to jot down the recipes because I tend not to measure accurately, LOL, but they love how what I make comes out, and they want to recipes for the future. If you have any recipes you think I might like to try, post them in the comments.
Have a wonderful day!
